The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a home invasion at the Florida home of rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine , where his mother was apparently held hostage.

According to PBSO, burglars entered the house on Sunday through the garage, and no arrests have been made yet. Authorities said they are actively continuing their investigation.

Sources from TMZ report that four armed gunmen stormed the home, apparently in search of cash and car keys.

At the time of the invasion, 6ix9ine’s 60-year-old mother was inside the home where TMZ said that she was confronted by the armed intruders, who allegedly restrained her outside while they went inside to ransack the property.

No other details have been released at this time.
