LENAWEE COUNTY, Mich. — John Skelton, the father of three Morenci, Michigan, boys missing since 2010, has been transferred to the Lenawee County Jail and was arraigned in court Monday on new charges, according to Sheriff Troy Bevier and court records.

Skelton was charged last week with three counts each of open murder and tampering with evidence. His bond was set at $60 million at his arraignment in 2A District Court, according to Michigan State Police. Skelton is set to be back in court for a probable cause hearing on Nov. 24, and then for a preliminary examination on Dec. 1.

Skelton was set to be released from prison near the end of the month after serving a 15-year sentence for unlawful imprisonment.
