Police have released more results from their extensive anti-drug operation earlier this fall on the Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory.

Starting Sept. 23 and ending Oct. 7, Tyendinaga and Ontario Provincial Police raided what they described as four illicit cannabis-production sites on the reserve, seizing a total to date of more than 118,000 cannabis plants valued by police at more than $200 million. Police stated the investigation stemmed from their probes of non-Indigenous gangs and police searched six locations on the reserve.

Police on Nov. 17 released further information on the case.

Thirty-four people now face a total of 74 related charges.
