Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase appeared to spit at Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Jalen Ramsey during Sunday’s game, prompting ESPN commentator Stephen A. Smith to call for a longer-than-typical suspension because of what Chase said after the game.

In a video posted by Cincinnati television station Fox 19 sports photographer Austin Brisk i, Chase and Steelers cornerback Jalen Ramsey were arguing on the field when Chase appeared to spit on Ramsey. Ramsey was upset and hit Chase in the helmet twice. Ramsey was flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct for hitting Chase and ejected from the game. Smith said that he saw Chase’s comments before watching the video and the Bengals star should receive additional punishment for his comments after the game.
