RICHMOND, Ky. (WKYT) - Two local organizations are collecting Christmas cards to send to active military members serving worldwide as part of Operation Stars & Stripes.

The Battle of Richmond and Military Missions in Lexington are asking people to buy a box of Christmas cards, sign their names and where they live, and drop them off at either Military Missions or the Battle of Richmond Visitors Center.
