Bob Ross’s "Winter’s Peace" sold for $318,000 at Bonhams in Los Angeles, setting a new auction record and leading three works that totaled $662,000.

The sale drew 356 bidders—more than twice the usual number—and will benefit American Public Television and PBS stations nationwide.

Two other paintings, "Home in the Valley" and "Cliffside," also exceeded estimates, with more Ross works to be auctioned in 2026.
