Body-cam footage has captured the moment a hapless suspect was sniffed out by a police dog while attempting to hide from officers - inside a wheelie bin.

Nottinghamshire Police dispatched a dog unit after two individuals fled from a car which had failed to stop in the early hours of November 12.

The vehicle was initially pulled over at a petrol station in Wollaton, Nottingham, due to suspicious behaviour of the driver, but it suddenly sped off. The driver then led traffic police on a high-speed chase before crashing into the driveway of a property on Central Avenue.

One suspect was apprehended nearby while another managed to escape after being pursued by PD Seth, a four year old Belgian Malinois. After breaking free from the police's grasp, the suspect jumped over several
