PHILADELPHIA — East Texas native and Philadelphia Eagles offensive tackle Lane Johnson is expected to miss four to six weeks due to an injury he suffered Sunday, insiders reported.
According to NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo, Johnson, a former KC football player and Groveton native, suffered a Lisfranc sprain during the game in which the Eagles defeated the Detroit Lions on Sunday.
NFL.com reported Johnson could be placed on injured reserve. But the foot issue "is not believed to be season-ending," Rapoport and Garafolo said.
Johnson has started all 10 games for the Eagles this season. NFL.com reported Johnson will be seeking a second opinion and further testing on the injury.
