SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - A new 50-foot animated Christmas tree, choreographed to music, will be part of the display in Forest Park this year.

To give you an idea of just how big it is, the new tree’s as a five-story building and taller than Bright Nights’ Giant Poinsettia Candles and the star on top is four feet tall.

It’s also covered in more than 18 hundred ornaments and has patterned lights that will also change according to which Christmas carols are playing.
