The Espanola Lions Club is once again thrilled to support the Espanola Pond Hockey program for children of all ages.
Making hockey accessible and affordable for youth starting out in hockey is a very worthy cause, and the Lions are proud to have supported pond hockey for over three years now.

This year’s donation is for $2,500 to help with the cost of renting the ice at the Recreation Complex. Ages for the program range from four to14 years old. The season starts in October and ends with a wind-up banquet in March. Hockey skills, sportsmanship and fun go hand-in-hand with 30-minute skills training and 1/2 game time.
Of course none of this is possible without the time, effort and dedication of many volunteers and willing parents. Hats off to the 38 children involved
