An urgent manhunt has been launched after a teenager was stabbed to death in Birmingham , police have said.
Yassin Alama, 19, tragically died after the horror attack yesterday evening. West Midlands Police are now trying to locate 17-year-old Oumar Traore, who is wanted over the killing.
The police said in a statement: "Detectives investigating the murder of a man in Handsworth have this afternoon named a teenager who' wanted over the killing. Oumar Traore, aged 17, is wanted for questioning following the death of Yassin Alama who was stabbed on Hutton Road, at around 5.20pm yesterday. Sadly, the 19-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene, and we are supporting his family at this tragic time.
