SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - Over the weekend, a bus carrying members of the Remsen St. Mary’s girls basketball team was involved in a two-vehicle crash on an Iowa highway.
In a post on X, Remsen St. Mary’s said there were no fatalities amongst the team, but three girls are still recovering from their injuries.
“We thank God that all students survived, and we are holding especially close in prayer the three girls who are recovering from severe injuries,” stated a post on the Remsen St. Mary’s Basketball account.
At about 12:53 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 15, first responders were sent to a crash on Highway 75, near the Plymouth and Woodbury County line on the northeast edge of Sioux City.
