CANYON, Texas (KTRE) - Former Diboll Lumberjack Zach Phipps caught the game-winning touchdown with six seconds left in West Texas A&M’s 45-44 win over Angelo State on Saturday.
The redshirt-sophomore has nine touchdown receptions on the year.
Phipps finished with four catches for 49 yards and a touchdown. With six seconds left in the game, Phipps caught a fade route and got one foot down to secure the win for the Buffaloes.
West Texas A&M finishes the year with an overall record of 7-4.
