LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - Montessori Children’s House of Lansing is expanding.
The building’s new room was marked with a ribbon cutting Monday morning.
The new room, called the Juniper room, is open for toddlers aged 18 months to three-years-old. It’ doubles the capacity to server additional families.
The school says they’re seeing an increased demand for daycare, as many families have both parents working.
“Most of our families have two working parents, so I think the need has been for children younger and younger to be in full daycare.” said Renee Dvorak with the Children’s House.
The Children’s house works with kids as old as ninth grade.
