Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase was adamant after Sunday’s game that he didn’t spit toward Steelers cornerback Jalen Ramsey.
The NFL apparently disagrees.
Chase was suspended one game without pay, the league announced Monday, for violating Rule 12, Section 3, Article 1, which applies to “any act which is contrary to the generally understood principles of sportsmanship.”
