COLUMBIA, S.C. — The City of Columbia, Prisma Health, and the National Fitness Campaign (NFC) opened the city’s third Fitness Court on Friday. The ribbon-cutting ceremony took place at Rosewood Park, 901 South Holly Street, where local leaders highlighted the project’s role in expanding access to free, quality fitness opportunities.
The Rosewood Park Fitness Court features seven workout stations—core, squat, push, lunge, pull, agility, and bend—that allow users to exercise at their own pace using body-weight movements. Officials say the space is designed to be inclusive for all ages and fitness levels, offering residents a free and accessible way to stay active outdoors.
