Calgary police say early indications suggest foul play wasn’t involved in the presence of human remains found in Nose Hill Park.

In the late morning of Nov. 14, a body was discovered by a pedestrian in the sprawling natural park in northwest Calgary, near 14th Street and 64th Avenue N.W.

Park-goers noted a police presence in the south end of the park throughout the day on Saturday, however, the area did not appear to be roped off.

On Monday, police said that although they’re still awaiting results from an autopsy, it doesn’t appear the death is a result of homicide.
