OXFORD, Ala. ( WBRC ) - Oxford Police are responding to a crash that involving a school bus.

Oxford Police Chief Bill Partridge posted to Facebook on Monday, Nov. 17 that the crash happened at AL Hwy 202 and Taylors Chapel Road. The road is blocked and drivers are asked to avoid the area.

Partridge posted an update at 4:16 p.m. to say that students are being taken to C.E. Hanna Elementary School for parents to pick up.

At 4:34 p.m., Partridge shared that one student was being taken to Regional Medical Center with minor injuries. The driver of a pickup truck involved in the crash is being airlifted to the hospital in Birmingham.
