CARROLL COUNTY, Ill. — Local police are asking for help in solving a case related to multiple burglaries.

The Carroll County Sheriff's Office and the Mt. Carroll Police Department are investigating multiple vehicle burglaries reported early on Sunday morning. They believe two men driving a red Chevrolet Blazer were in the area between midnight and 3:30 a.m.

During that span, the two men opened unlocked vehicles in Mt. Carroll and stole property from inside. Police believe the men also entered multiple Mt. Carroll homes.

The vehicle burglaries happened mostly east of Clay Street in Mt. Carroll. Several other incidents happened between Mt. Carroll and Savanna.
