AUGUSTA, Maine (WMTW) - Maine House Minority Leader Billy Bob Faulkingham said he is considering running for a higher office.

The Republican from Winter Harbor says a lot of people have been pushing him to run for something beyond the Maine Legislature.

He said Monday he was not making an announcement yet, and he would not confirm what office he is considering.

There are several high-profile races on the ballot in Maine in 2026 including governor, the Second Congressional District, and U.S. Senate.
