DEDHAM, Mass. —

Several investigators who could be called as witnesses in the upcoming murder trial of Brian Walshe were also among those who testified in the trials of Karen Read, who was acquitted of murder this summer.

Brian Walshe , of Cohasset, is accused of killing and dismembering his wife, 39-year-old Ana Walshe, around New Year's Day in 2023. Prosecutors allege that Walshe disposed of his wife's remains in dumpsters around the area.

He faces charges of murder, misleading a police investigation and improper conveyance of a human body. Jury selection for the case is set to begin on Tuesday .

Read was found not guilty of murder this summer after her second high-profile trial in the death of Boston police officer John O'Keefe, her boyfriend, but guilty of a lesser charge of
