PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A bicyclist is in the hospital after being hit by a motorcycle in south Phoenix Sunday night.

Firefighters responded to the area of 16th Street and Southern Avenue for reports of a crash. When they got to the scene, they found the bicyclist with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Another person was hurt but did not go to the hospital.

Police are responding to the scene to determine what led up to the crash. They said impairment is not believed to be a factor.
