TARENTUM, Pa. —
A long-awaited fix to the pothole problem at the Galleria at Pittsburgh Mills is finally happening along a main stretch of the road, Frazer Township officials said.
Milling and paving got underway on Monday along Village Center Drive, a stretch many said left them with damaged vehicles and flat tires in the past. The work is expected to last all week. Advertisement
“It's a great thing to see happen. It's been a long time, and a lot of people getting flat tires and everything going through here. So, yeah, it really needs done,” Jimmy Houston said.
“I didn’t think it was ever going to happen, but the potholes were getting terrible,” Diane Bowser said.
This will be the first road on the Pittsburgh Mills property to get long-term repairs made.
