OROVILLE, Calif. - A vehicle fire erupted on Saturday along Highway 162 and Skyline Boulevard in Oroville.

According to CAL FIRE, the blaze was reported at 2:47 p.m. and was extinguished by 2:58 p.m. Shortly after the initial call, a second report suggested there might be ammunition inside the car.

Emergency crews arrived promptly at 2:51 p.m. and managed to control the fire quickly. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

Currently, lanes are blocked in the area for safety reasons.
