Sunday the Seattle Seahawks slipped out of their perch atop the NFC West, losing 21-19 to the Los Angeles Rams as the offense turned the ball over repeatedly and failed to capitalize on opportunities to seize control of the division.
In addition, late in the game the Seahawks watched as 2025 first round pick Grey Zabel, who has started every game at left guard so far this season, went down in pain on the last play of the next to last possession of the game. Zabel was then helped into the medical tent, with limited ability to put weight on his leg as he slowly made his way to the sideline.
The scene immediately planted seeds of fear about potentially losing Zabel for the remainder of the season, and there was no shortage of Seattle fans waiting for an update on his health Monday.
