A man has a long road to recovery after he was badly burned in a fire at his auto shop in Opa-locka last week.

Sebastian Guyher spoke to NBC6 from his hospital bed on Monday. He said he has tons of support from his family and wife, who has been by his side every day.

Guyher, 43, was working at his shop, Teiko Auto Sales, last Thursday when a car caught on fire.

Before he knew it, he was on fire and said a pain like he's never known consumed him.

He now has serious burns all over his body, including his face, hands and arms.

“I'm just looking to get better and be healthy again and be able to work again and provide for my family again and then taking care of myself and try to get my business back open,” Guyher said.
