HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Hawaii Department of Human Services is warning the public about a possible scam targeting recipients of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).
Three people reported getting an automated recording that claimed their benefits were on hold and to confirm their identity.
The department says it does not send out these types of messages.
