Natalie's Everyday Heroes: 9-year-old cancer survivor inspires plan for accessible playground in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Concepts were unveiled Monday, for Stella's Playground- a major step forward for inclusive play here in Milwaukee.

Stella's would be the city's first universally accessible playground.

The idea was inspired by Stella Schneider, a 9-year-old cancer survivor.

During her recovery, she wasn't able to play on the playground with other kids.

Her mom, Rese, immediately decided she could build a playground for kids of all abilities. The plans unveiled Monday are a big step forward.
