SCRANTON, Pa. — Repairs are underway on a water main break affecting a part of Scranton.
American Water crews are on the scene of a water main that broke around 7:30 p.m. Monday near Linden Street and Colfax Avenue. According to an American Water worker, the main break is affecting Geisinger-CMC, and some valves have been shut off; however, some water is still flowing on the street.
Repairs are estimated to be finished at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
Residents or businesses in the affected area may experience discolored or cloudy water, low water pressure, or a complete lack of water. When work is completed, temporary changes in the water might occur, like discoloration or cloudy water.
