HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Hawaii Police Department is renewing its request for information regarding a missing fisherman.

Earl Kekuanaoa Hind, 42, known as Oa, last launched his vessel from the South Point area on Monday, April 7.
He regularly fished in the area, officials said.
Officials said he was aboard his vessel, Makalapua Onalani, which his family confirmed is named after his daughter.
Police said Hind and his boat were last seen around 12 p.m. offshore near Milolii, heading north.
Loved ones reported Hind missing two days later on Wednesday, April 9, after failing to return.
Hind’s truck and boat trailer were later found parked near the South Point boat ramp area.
He is described as 6 feet
