Johnson Wen, 26, pled guilty of being a public nuisance and was sentenced to 9 days in prison. After grabbing Grande the first time, a Singapore court heard how he attempted to do it a second time but security staff actually stopped him that time and pinned him down.
Wen, who did not have any representation, told the judge that he would "not do it again."
Under Singapore law, he could have been jailed for up to three months, fined up to S$2,000 (£1,167; $1,537), or both.
