Residents in New Orleans East are feeling uneasy after two carjackings occurred just hours and a few miles apart over the weekend.

The victim on Toulon Street was not hurt but understandably shaken up.
According to police, eight hours later, a group of people were carjacked and pistol-whipped on Jourdan Road.
One resident shared his experience, saying two people walked up his street and carjacked him in his driveway.
Rafael Goyeneche with the Metropolitan Crime Commission noted that since one of the vehicles has been recovered, it will help track some leads.
