SALEM, N.H. —

An organization in Salem is working to support local families this holiday season.

Salem Family Resources hosts playgroups for children, workshops and support groups, and it helps parents with things like diapers, wipes and food.

This holiday season, the organization is also collecting coats, hats, mittens and other items.

"That is focused on diapers and wipes, hygiene products and food for families, especially formula, toddler-based foods, because that's the primary demographic we see," said Melissa Larocque, executive director of Salem Family Resources.
