The community is rallying around a Northfield man who was forcibly arrested and detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) last week.
Northfield News reports that more than 200 people took part in a vigil Sunday night, held in solidarity with Adán Núñez Gonzalez, who was taken into custody by ICE agents last Tuesday on his way to work. The event in downtown Northfield was attended by residents, organizers, activists, faith leaders, and local officials, including Mayor Erica Zweifel.
