An Ocala man has been arrested for first-degree murder in the death of a missing woman from the United Kingdom whose remains were found in the woods in mid-October.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement arrested Dwain Hall, 53, on charges of first-degree murder and kidnapping in the homicide of a missing woman from the UK. FDLE said it was contacted through INTERPOL on Oct. 13 by police in the UK regarding a missing and endangered woman from England.

The woman missed her return flight to England on the 13th, and her remains were recovered in the Marion Oaks area on Oct. 17. Her death was ruled a homicide by investigators.
