ELMORE COUNTY, Idaho — The Elmore County Clerk's Office has identified a discrepancy between the number of ballots cast and the number of voters who participated in the Nov. 4 consolidated election.

"Needless to say, this situation is very concerning," Secretary of State Phil McGrane said. "We are taking this matter seriously and will pursue every available path to ensure the will of the voters is accurately reflected in the results."

The Idaho Secretary of State's Office announced on Monday that the county clerk's office informed them on Friday, November 14, that approximately 300 ballots were not tallied or included in the final results.
