New York Jets cornerback Kris Boyd remains in critical condition and authorities are advancing the search for a gunman suspected of pulling the trigger in the early Sunday incident.

Boyd, identified by the office of New York Mayor Eric Adams as the victim, was taken to Bellevue Hospital following a Midtown Manhattan shooting shortly after 2 a.m. ET on Sunday.

Police released surveillance images as part of a New York Crimestoppers Alert with images of the alleged suspect wanted in the shooting, which records showed took place outside of a restaurant on West 38th Street near Seventh Avenue.

The New York Police Department did not name Boyd when sharing a 29-year-old man was shot in the abdomen and taken to hospital with critical wounds. His condition was later updated to critical but stabl
