A young man attempted to attack a taxi driver with a knife at Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru. The incident took place late Sunday night at the entrance of Terminal-1, and CCTV footage has emerged.

The CCTV shows the accused, Sohel Ahmed, rushing towards the taxi driver and trying to attack him. People present at the scene panicked and started running in all directions.

ASI Sunil Kumar of the CISF and his team, who were on duty at the location, acted immediately. They ran, overpowered the attacker, seized the knife, and restrained him.

The police have filed a case against the accused under the Arms Act. After being presented in court, he was sent to judicial custody.
