In Shivamogga, Karnataka, four people beat up and looted a youth after asking about his religion.

In Shivamogga, Karnataka, a young man was attacked by four people on Saturday night. According to the FIR, the accused asked him - Are you Muslim or Hindu? When the youth identified himself as Hindu, they beat him up and robbed him of 50,000 rupees from his pocket.

The accused fled when a motorcyclist was spotted. Police have registered a case and started investigation.
