PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are searching for the suspect who stabbed a man on a westbound SEPTA platform Monday night.

The attack happened just before 9:30 p.m. near the 5th Street Station on the Market-Frankford Line in Philadelphia.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition.

Authorities have not released the suspect's identity or details about what led to the stabbing.
