Bengaluru: A man was arrested at Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) in Bengaluru for allegedly attempting to attack two men with a sickle, officials said. The accused has been identified as Sohail Ahmed, in his 40s, who works as a cab driver at the airport.
According to police, the incident stems from a personal dispute earlier on November 16. Around 1:30 am, Ahmed was allegedly involved in a confrontation with taxi drivers Jagdish JR, Renu Kumar, and Gangadhar Angadi. Later the same day, at approximately 11:59 pm, Ahmed reportedly returned to the airport armed with a sickle and tried to attack the drivers near the Arrival Lane of Terminal 1.
