Parents send their children to school hoping they will learn, grow, and build a secure future. But a shocking video from a government school in Chhattisgarh has raised troubling questions about what happens when the very people responsible for shaping young minds fail to teach even the basics correctly.

The video, recorded in a primary school in Kogwar, showed a teacher conducting an English class while writing blatantly incorrect spellings on the blackboard.

In one lesson, the teacher was seen making students memorise the days of the week in English. However, the spellings written on the blackboard were themselves incorrect - “Farday” instead of Friday, and “Saterday” instead of Saturday. The children, unaware of the errors, repeated the words exactly as taught.
