DEDHAM, Mass. —
Jury selection gets underway Tuesday in the trial of Brian Walshe, the Massachusetts man accused of killing and dismembering his wife in 2023, in Norfolk Superior Court in Dedham; and is expected to continue into next week.
The judge expects to question about 70 potential jurors a day, aiming to have 12 jurors and four alternates seated for the trial before Thanksgiving. Jury selection begins at 9 a.m.
The Cohasset father is accused of killing and dismembering Ana Walshe, 39, around New Year's Day in 2023. Prosecutors allege that Walshe disposed of his wife's remains in dumpsters around the area.
He faces charges of murder, misleading a police investigation and improper conveyance of a human body.
