MEDINA, Ohio – As the school year continues, officials from Medina City Schools say the district plans learn more about AI and what it means for the future of education.

Director of Instruction Tina Cassidy said during a Nov. 13 board of education meeting that AI was a topic of discussion at a curriculum committee meeting earlier this month.

“This is something we need to know and be on top of and get ahead of it, knowing what the implications are and the applications for education,” she said. “Our January professional development day is coming up, and teachers will have the opportunity to attend a various number of AI sessions.”
