A big part of the country headed to the polls a couple of weeks ago, but Oklahomans will cast their ballots today.
Oklahoma state law schedules special elections in odd-numbered years for the second Tuesday of November. Since that date coincides with Veterans Day, Nov. 11, the election was moved to the following week, Nov. 18.
In Oklahoma, a few dozen counties will hold special elections to decide mayoral elections, school proposals and sales tax questions.
Votes may be cast from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. today.
