Users of social media app X, formerly called Twitter, are reporting multiple outages early on Tuesday, Nov. 18.

The outage appears to stem from a major issue with Cloudflare , which is an internet infrastructure that offers many of the core technologies that power today’s online experiences, according to nationalworld.com .

Just before 6 a.m. CT, Cloudflare confirmed the issue is affecting its global network, which is causing widespread internet outages ranging from platforms like X/Twitter, ChatGPT, Canva, and, ironically, Downdetector, which is a website that tracks outages.

According to Cloudflare's Status page , the issue has been identified and a fix is being implemented.
