ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Sherrone Moore wasn’t even willing to entertain the question.

“Don’t even talk about the final game. Don’t do it,” the Michigan head coach told reporters on Monday, 12 days before the regular-season finale against Ohio State.

At 8-2, the Wolverines are still alive in the Big Ten title and playoff race, but need two more wins. And before the Buckeyes come calling, Michigan is set to hit the road one last time to play struggling Maryland this Saturday in College Park.

The Terrapins have lost six straight games after starting the season 4-0, the classic tale of the air coming out of the tires. It would make sense that some might be overlooking Mike Locksley’s team.

But not Moore and his team.
