‌BBC Celebrity MasterChef has returned to screens with Grace Dent stepping in to replace Gregg Wallace as one of the judges. The 52-year-old, who has been a frequent guest critic on the programme in the past, has taken over from Wallace's role after he was dismissed following an investigation into his conduct which saw 45 out of 83 allegations against him upheld. ‌

While John Torode is also being substituted for the upcoming amateur series, he will appear alongside Grace in the current celebrity edition with a line up that features singers Alfie Boe and Michelle Heaton, soap stars Katie McGlyn and Jamie Lomas, Welsh rugby legend Alun Wyn Jones and writer and broadcaster Dawn O'Porter ‌
