COLUMBUS — A fetal development video created by an anti-abortion group would be a required element of the Ohio public school curriculum in Grades 5-12 under legislation being considered in the Ohio House.

House Bill 185, also known as the “Baby Olivia Act,” would require public schools to show Live Action’s “Meet Baby Olivia” video — or a “substantially similar” video — as part its instruction on human growth and development. The legislation would also require schools to show a high-definition ultrasound video that is at least three minutes long.
