Authorities say two people have been arrested on arson and attempted murder charges for allegedly setting a fire earlier this month in Holyoke, Massachusetts.

Holyoke and state police have charged Anthony Ortiz Correia, 40, and Naysha Merced Gonzalez, 42, with burning a dwelling, attempted murder and causing injury to a firefighter in the line of duty for allegedly setting a Nov. 4 fire at a multi-family home at 268 Pine St. Both were also charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, drug trafficking and related offenses for a handgun and cocaine that were recovered while they were being arrested Tuesday.
